GE Industrial Solutions holds 2015 channel partner summit

Industrial Solutions’ April 21 channel partner summit in Shanghai united more than 210 channel partner representatives from across Greater China 

and nearly 50 GE employees in exploring opportunities for growth and expanded collaboration.



“This event strongly reflects our commitment to strengthening the value we bring to our channel partners and supporting their success,” said

Magued Eldaief, global commercial leader, who joined James Liu, general manager – China, in welcoming participants.


The meeting kicked off with presentations on Industrial Solutions’ business investments, channel strategy and targeted efforts to drive growth in

key verticals. Product management representatives then shared the latest highlights and solutions for Power Components, Power Equipment and

Critical Power. In addition, participants learned about OneEM and the expanded capabilities gained with Intelligent Platforms and Power Conversion



To help support continuous growth, two channel partners were selected to host best-practice sharing sessions with attendees. This provided an

opportunity to hear from a long-term partner of more than 50 years on sustaining steady performance and a newer partner on how to deliver great value.



IS leaders then hosted a panel discussion to address top interests and concerns collected from attendees. Topics included channel partner training,

increasing Industrial Solutions brand awareness and efforts to improve on-time delivery.


“This open dialogue reinforced our ongoing commitment to actively seeking customer feedback and improving the service we provide,” said James Liu. 

“Our goal is to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and create a win-win relationship for GE and our partners.”


The event concluded with a celebration of top channel partner performance during an awards dinner.

Industrial Solutions. “It helped our partners better understand our strategic focus areas and capabilities, serving to strengthen confidence and trust.”
